Protest as fashion — what posturing idiots.
[Jpost] Hundreds of people protested in London and Berlin on Sunday in solidarity with demonstrations in the United States over the death of a black man shown on video gasping for breath as a white policeman knelt on his neck in Minneapolis.

The protesters knelt in central London's Trafalgar Square, chanting "No justice, no peace," and then marched past the Houses of Parliament and finished up outside the US Embassy.Several hundred protesters also staged a rally outside the US Embassy in Berlin, holding up posters saying "Justice for George Floyd," "Stop killing us" and "Who's neckst."


That's a lovely thought, but who exactly are they referring to?

[Breitbart] A rioter appears to have accidentally lit himself on fire while trying to set ablaze the Market House in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Saturday, according to video shared to social media.

The video, which appears to have been live streamed, shows a rioter lighting a fire inside the Market House — but catching fire in the process. Protesters can be heard audibly gasping as the rioter catches fire, prompting the man to flee from the building. "Get him out, get him out!" one man can be heard yelling.

#18  I don't think you even need to shoot them. Some of them are hard-core, but a lot are just upper middle-class kids living out a hero fantasy. Pick a few of the timid-looking ones and do the judicial equivalent of calling their mommies. Multiple felony charges (attempted murder sounds about right), lots of videos of them crying, perp walk, arrest report in their hometown newspapers. See how many show up the next time. Save the pre-dawn SWAT raids for the leaders, who, with any luck, will resist arrest.

Antifa aren't even political. They have no coherent program and don't give a damn about elections or governance. Most of them are simply deranged individuals with a hankering to crack skulls and cause havoc.

#12  I think all this was originally planned for the DNC convention this summer, when the cause de jour would have been the DNC screwing Bernie out of his rightful place as the nominee. Bernie's withdrawal messed that up, but the George killing provided an even better cause. So they moved the timing up a few weeks.

I think some people have the tendency to assume that Antifa is a particularly vigorous group of Biden supporters, or at least Democrats of some ilk. They're not. Trump's a rallying point, but all this would be happening with Biden or Hillary in office.

What Antifa wants is anarchy. "No border, no wall, no USA at all!" Or one that I have personally heard: "What do we want? Dead cops! Rows and rows of dead cops!"

The key to this is to split the black protesters from their Antifa overseers.
