| #2 I remember the game from the 70s. The Soviets et al would put a lot of metal in the skies in the east forcing NATO to do the same. After a few times of that game, the USAF with lots of all weather craft waited till a really bad weather system got overhead and did the same, launching as much as the could forcing the Soviets to do the same. The American aircraft could return to base in that weather. The Soviets could not and had to disperse throughout the east to viable landing strips. |
