#1  My finest off the cuff riposte of all time: I was sitting in a bar having a drink while waiting to see the restored version of Touch of Evil. A guy and his lady friend, both pretty well oiled were sitting next to me at the bar. The woman admires my Breitling and asks me if it's a diver's watch. I tell her no, it's a pilot's watch. The guy then asks "But is it waterproof?" I replied "Not if you are a good pilot."
