Pak Doctor on H-1B Visa Wanted to Attack U.S. for ISIS | |
2020-05-17 | |
[BREITBART] A Pak doctor, admitted to the United States through the H-1B visa program, wanted to attack Americans for the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (ISIS), federal agents say in a criminal complaint. Muhammad Masood, a 28-year-old Pak national, first arrived in the U.S. in February 2018 after he was able to secure an H-1B visa — the visa program whereby more than 100,000 foreign workers are brought to the U.S. every year and are allowed to stay for up to six years. There are about 650,000 H-1B visa foreign workers in the U.S. at any given moment. Masood worked as an H-1B visa holder "research coordinator" at a medical clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
"[Masood] indicated ... because he was currently in the United States, ’sometimes I want to attack [the] enemy when I am behind enemy [lines] itself’ because ’not many people [can] even reach here to attack,'" the criminal complaint states. "Discussing his travel to [commit jihad for ISIS], [Masood] noted that he will lose the chance to conduct an attack in the United States: ’I wonder if I will miss the opportunity of attacking the enemy when I was in the middle of it.'" In another message through a messaging app, Masood said he had intended to attack Americans in the U.S. while on his H-1B visa but decided to make travel plans to fight for ISIS in Syria instead, according to federal agents. "You know [brother] ... there is so much I wanted to do here ... [lone wolf] stuff you know... but I realized [I] should be on the ground helping brothers, sisters, kids inshAllah," Masood allegedly wrote in a message. On February 21, federal agents said Masood bought a plane ticket from reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... , Illinois, to Amman, Jordan, where he then planned to travel to Syria. After Masood was forced to cancel his trip to Jordan due to the Chinese coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ![]() crisis, he bought a plane ticket from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Los Angeles, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,. On March 19, Masood was taken into custody by federal agents after arriving at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to board his flight. Masood has been charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS. #10 Masood could have killed hundreds by just being an incompetent doctor. The AMA would have backed him up. |

#9 A PhD is a guaranteed Green Card. For an American, you never make up the difference in lost wages when getting a PhD. |

#6 #3 I wonder why - are there different labor laws for natives vs. foreigners? p.s. Your argument doesn't explain why there are so many foreign born in USA universities STEM departments. |

#5 The government is famous for tailoring job descriptions to fit a particular candidate, then fielding the job posting for the minimum amount of time. But, but, but it's not the dreaded candidate 'pre-selection.' Follows is a hypothetical example: Candiate must have Rakahanga-Manihiki language skills at the native fluency level. |

#3 When I was in IT in the early 90s, I'd get the trade publication Compterworld. The back section contained want ads. It was filled with page long listings for a job with very precise skill sets. No one had all those skills. It was just a CYA process for the company to justify getting a H1B. There was no Q&A process by the government to audit whether the H1B hire met all those skill sets. It was a game. It destroyed the incentive to put in the years and study (investment) to get skills only to have someone from overseas take the jobs. See - Disney replacing American workers already doing the jobs with H1B hires. |

#2 ^Don't you think it's the other way around? |

#1 H1Bs are the equivalent of moving production off shore. Reduces the incentive to invest in Americans developing the skills. |
