[IsraelTimes] Court’s oldest justice has been admitted twice since November because of infections, will have gallstone removed in non-surgical procedure.
and a software/firmware update
US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is glad to be home after being discharged Wednesday from a Baltimore hospital, the court said.

Ginsburg, 87, spent one night at the Johns Hopkins Hospital to receive nonsurgical treatment for an infection caused by a gallstone. She participated in court arguments by telephone from her hospital room Wednesday.

She will return to the hospital for outpatient visits over the next few weeks and will eventually have the gallstone removed, the court said. The procedure does not involve surgery.

The court’s oldest justice has been in the hospital twice since November because of infections. She also received outpatient radiation treatment in New York in August for a tumor on her pancreas.

#4  Oh don't worry, if Creepy Joe Biden wins, the Democrats will stack the Supreme Court up to 15 or more justices.

#3  If I had my druthers, I would expand the SC and each judge would have an 11 month term (December would be the off month).

Each state appoints one judge for that term and a judge can be appointed multiple times. Vice President is the tie breaker vote.

Good luck stacking that court.

#2  'Lifetime appointments' must be abolished. Is there anyone who thinks one's brain does not work a bit differently at age 70-75 and beyond ?

With a few exceptions 70-75 really isn't prime time. I speak from personal experiece. Why can't we face it and enjoy the simple pleasures? The American people deserve much better.
