| This little gem from YPost, in case some people think morons in Israel [Ynet] During the days of the coronavirus crisis, I have followed the speeches of Germany’s chancellor, Angela Merkel, from my home in Berlin. Stay there, we don't want you - you piece of sh*t! Despite the grim data from other European countries, Germany had succeeded in lowering the rate of infection, flattening the curve, and giving hope to its people. All of that didn’t happen because Germany is stronger, or richer than other countries - it happened thanks to the woman at the helm - one of Europe’s bravest, most humble, and strongest women, Angela Merkel. There are many reasons for her success Some statistics from worldometer. Israel: total cases/1M pop = 1,879; total deaths/1M pop = 27. Germany: total cases/1M pop = 1,984; total deaths/1M pop = 83. |
