Nineteen kids in $1m car heist: Gang of children as young as NINE are busted for breaking into 14 dealerships and stealing new vehicles in a six-week crime spree

  • Group of 19 juveniles reportedly stole 46 cars from dealerships over the last two months

  • Thefts happened in Salem-Winston and Kernersville, North Carolina

  • Juveniles ages ranged from nine to 16-year-old

  • Stolen vehicles are worth an estimated $1,138,718

  • Authorities said all but six of the cars have been recovered

  • Targeted dealerships included Audi, Lexus and Toyota

  • Kids were reportedly stealing keys for new cars or for cars being serviced at dealerships

  • Mekeal Stewart Binns, 19, was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle in connection to the crime spree

  • Four of the juveniles have also been taken into custody
