Michigan Governor: 'Revolting Against A Tyrannical Government Is Simply Un-American' |
2020-04-21 |
![]() Whitmer called on the protesters in her state to stop their illegal assembling, reminding them that protesting so-called tyranny is a foreign idea to the history of the United States. "Protesting and revolting against your wise rulers goes against everything America was built on," she said. "It flies in the face of every American tradition. Revolting against tyranny has no place in this great country." Governor Whitmer then rattled off a long list of things that she also believes to be un-American:
Having a list of protected rights Separation of powers Democratically elected leaders Freedom of religion, assembly, the press, protests, and speech. Federalism Apple pie Baseball America |

#18 #16 Why are the comments all focused on how ugly she is? I mean, yes, she is ugly, but far more importantly, SHE IS EVIL. Mockery is usually a more effective persuader than jeremiads. It's why the left gets the vapors on those rare occasions when the right comes up with a viral meme. |

#13 Same Rob, but she is just one decree short of her body guards asking if it is worth dying for. I'm sure they read the news from Canada. |

#9 ...accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. - Declaration of Independence Jefferson's 'consent of the governed' is book ended by Lincoln's 'willingness to give the last full measure of devotion.' |

#2 Separately, I know why this dingbat doesn't do it for me: it's the hairdo. Her eyes are mesmerizing but the hairdo focuses attention on her (huge) forehead. She needs one of those "helmet" hairdos, with bangs covering her forehead, and a bit shorter on the sides (just covering the ears) and in the back. Like Uma Thurman in 'Pulp Fiction.' Oh, and she should also resign her post and take up a new line of work. |
