Bill Kristol‐son of the "godfather of neoconservatism" Irving Kristol, and founder and editor-at-large of The Weekly Standard, a now-defunct outlet‐confirmed the suspicions of many observers recently when he tweeted that he (and maybe all conservatives?) is now a Democrat.

#12  The fact that he could side with socialists in the Democrat party shows he's not actually conservative. If he'd joined the Libertarian party or tried to form a new third party I could possibly believe he was credible, but as is, he's just another lefty grifter playing pretend conservative to fill a marketing niche.
