Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) found herself in hot water on Twitter Tuesday with her reaction to President Trump warning the next two weeks would be "very painful" in the COVID-19 Chinese coronavirus crisis. Omar posted an Islamic saying, "Subhanallah!" that some interpreted as praise, rather than an expression of shock. | #8 Bullshit. Subhanallah actually means praise. Nobody says 'good god' in arabic or urdu. You can't just translate and appropriate westernisms and use them as Dhikr; it would be a sin and blasphemy. 'Subhaanallah' is one of the tasbeeh-e-Dhikr, phrases and exhortations used to invoke Allah, in everyday chatter. It means something like 'God is beyond good !' People say it when they hear good news, or when praising a dish or a painting or song, or a woman - anything beautiful. |

| #1 This woman needs to be dumped or removed from office for ethic violations and possible crimes in 2020. Unfortunately, flogging is not an option in this country. |
