[PalestineChronicle] Twenty-three-year-old American peace activist Rachel Corrie was killed by an Israeli bulldozer that was preparing to demolish a Palestinian home in the Gaza Strip in 2003.
She was a western leftist who thought it would be a good idea to protect Muslims who would have thrown her off a building. Turns out it wasn't a good idea.Born on April 10, 1979, in Olympia, Washington, Corrie dedicated her life to defending Palestinian rights. In 2003, she went to the Gaza Strip as a member of the International Solidarity Movement.
She was LARPing at being a radical. Until another LARPer came and put her in the role of flattening her out and making her a part of a complete breakfast. squish

#8  I remember this. She lost her footing and slipped. The pic doesn't do it justice. These were military grade bulldozers with a much more obstructed view than a regular dozer. More APC like than tractor. And like a Mac Truck, if I can't see you in my mirrors - you don't really exist from my point of view from inside the cab. So stay out of my blind spots. That's why my mom told me not to play around big trucks.
