| [IsraelTimes] The IDF says it carried out a strike in Syria near the border with Israel in the Quneitra region, citing an attempt to carry out a sniping attack. "A short time ago an IDF force identified an attempt at a sniping attack in the northern Golan Heights," the military says. "The force attacked the vehicle involved in the attempted attack." No immediate word on casualties in the strike.
