| #7 As for Romney, I would say two things re: this article. First, why only two thirds? That's pathetic. Second, if people can freelance against the widely supported leadership of their own party without consequence, it means at least one the following. Many in the party leadership actually support that freelancing, or the party leadership is weak and/or feckless. |

| #6 #3 Can someone tell me how so much fuss about Trump's impeachment? Many people in America don't understand that an impeachment is a politicized indictment, not a legal conviction. The Deep State, Democrats and "principled conservatives" are counting on this ignorance about that important distinction in order to damage Trump politically. Your quote from the Constitution shows that you know more about our system of government than the average American, including many "Constitutional conservatives". |

When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present." and there was never a chance Dems getting their two thirds majority |
