residents on Tuesday claimed that "at least eleven non-combatants were killed" in a dronezap in Kashk-e-Kohna district in the western province on Monday evening.
Massouda Karokhi, an MP from Herat, also confirmed the incident and the casualties.
According to the residents, "eight children" were among those killed in the "drone attack."
The residents on Tuesday took the bodies in front of the Herat governor’s office.
This comes as the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission in a report issued on January 27 said that 485 non-combatants were killed, and 265 others were maimed, in pro-government forces
