#3 We used to run a Soviet, Bermuda naval invasion scenario. Many US (undersea) cables across the Atlantic run thru a control point there before landing on the east coast. That was the easiest node to capture, monitor and control much of the east/west money movement. |

#2 I used to load those cables onto ships at Newington, NH in my college days. That cable below is not like the kind I was working with - my cables were 2" diameter pink hard plastic / fiber optic core, with repeaters every 10 miles and an amplifier every 50. |
