| #4 #3 You don't calculate mortality as dead/infected but as dead/(dead + recovered) - people in whom the disease haven't run it's course don't count. |

| #2 Something like a 1% mortality rate? Bad enough but not a population-collapsing level. And I expect a lot of those 1% were people with other health issues. It is expected to be a pathogen that mutates easily, so who can tell where it goes. |
