ICE blasts 'dangerously flawed' NYC sanctuary laws for letting Guyanese illegal immigrant, 21, walk free without bail just weeks before he 'raped and murdered a 92-year-old woman'
2020-01-16
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • ICE said on Monday that NYC had ignored its detainer for Reeaz Khan, 21

  • Khan was freed with no bail in November on assault and gun charges

  • He was slated for deportation and released despite ICE request to hold him

  • On Friday he was arrested again and charged with sexual abuse and murder

  • Maria Fuertes, 92, was found dead on a Queens street on January 6

  • Mayor Bill de Blasio's office fires back at ICE for 'politicizing' the murder

Khan told detectives that he was simply walking through the area when he came across Fuertes lying on the pavement, the The New York Post reported.

He claims he was trying to help her up when 'he fell down, his belt broke, his pants fell down and his penis fell near her vagina'.

Khan told detectives that at that moment 'something came over him' and he 'lifted up Fuertes' skirt and try to put his penis inside of her,' according to the Post.

Khan reportedly admitted to suffering 'uncontrollable urges,' and decided to act upon them.

Days after his arrest, Khan totally denied the charges in a jailhouse interview, saying he had no need to rape an elderly woman because he already had a girlfriend.

However, despite the young man's denials, most, including his own father do not believe him.

'You make your kids, but you don't make their minds,' father Afraz Khan said. 'We're very sorry for what happened. Our sympathies go out to that woman's family.'

Khan is currently being held without bail on Rikers Island. He is charged with murder, sexual abuse, contact by forcible compulsion, and sexual abuse against a person incapable of consent.
According to the local CBS station, Mr. Khan’s family tipped off the police.
Jihad Watch pegged him as Muslim, possibly based in his family name, which is common in the former Moghul empire.

#12  When you understand that the "immigrants" are imported muscle, everything the Swamp is doing makes sense.

#10  His excuse sounds very reasonable. I'm sure his cell buddies will use it often, on him.

#8  Instead of deporting Khan and being done with it, New York taxpayers get to support him and a host of prison guards for the rest of Khan's life. Thanks Warren Wilhelm Bill de Blasio!

#7  As/when violent NYC crime rises to the levels we saw prior to Giuliani and Bratton, it will affect everyone living in NYC.

It's been the plan. The criminals have guns. The sheep do not. Those in power made sure that was the arrangement.

For now. As/when violent NYC crime rises to the levels we saw prior to Giuliani and Bratton, it will affect everyone living in NYC.

Fools. Amnesiacs.

#4  What's that word lefties were bandying about a while back with respect to everything wrong in the world and Trump? Complicit. Own it yourself now, lefties.

Remove the limited immunity of public officials whose actions leads to these crimes. CYA is amazing in altering behaviors like this. Principles suddenly are grounded in consequences directly borne by the 'decision' makers.

Look in the mirror, putz.

You're the fool who's made NYC unsafe by politicizing EVERYTHING related to policing and/or race.
