| #4 Question for those whose experience with SAMs doesn't consist solely of playing too mcuh Flanker sim twenty years ago: Are such objects typically found in that condition? I'd have expected it to be a bit more beat up. Also, betcha that's not where it landed. Looks like just the spot to which a brave (or astute), civic minded person might move it: "By Allah, I care nothing for death. Step aside, I shall save the neighborhood!" |

| #1 Anti-aircraft missiles seldom hit planes. They explode when they are close enough to damage the plane with shrapnel. The photo shows the control section of the missile, not the warhead. |
