[Jpost] Hackers claiming to be from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...

Hackers claiming to be from Iran defaced the website of the US Federal Depository Library Program, placing a pro-Iranian message on it as well as a bloodied image of US president Donald Trump being punched in the face, according to a report released by CBS news.

Written in both Farsi and English, the message said that "martyrdom was [Soleimani’s]... reward for years of implacable efforts," with another caption noting that "this is only small part of Iran’s cyber ability!"

A spokesperson from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a section of the US Department of Homeland Security, acknowledged that the hack took place.

"We are aware the website of the Federal Depository Library Program [FDLP] was defaced with pro-Iranian, anti-US messaging," the spokesperson said in a statement. "At this time, there is no confirmation that this was the action of Iranian state-sponsored actors. The website was taken offline and is no longer accessible. CISA [the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency] is monitoring the situation with FDLP and our federal partners."

Another senior US official noted that the defacement is a small-time event that was likely carried out by Iranian sympathizers.

#6  And so it begins. Look for the next level of escalation to be Iranian sleeper agents peeing on fire hydrants and discarding shawarma wrappers on the sidewalk.

#4  More like throwing 1/20th of a roll of single-ply toilet paper on Mr Pulaski's rose bush and soaping his window

#3  The vaunted Iranian Hacker Brigade, defacing a website of the library. This is the equivalent of me & my older brother lighting a bag of dogshit on Mr. Pulaski's doorstep and laugh our asses off when he starts stepping on it to put it out and then realizing what was in the bag is now all over his shoes.

#1  The Library? That's the toughest target you could hack? Try Experian next time, it's easier.
