#3 'Street' pot will end up being cheaper as it won't have the tax burden. And now anyone caught in possession of pot can claim that they got it legally, unless there's some rule that you have to hang on to your receipts. Of course, the forgers have a new venue there. |

#2 Pot that's grown legally have to pay taxes and fees to the state. Pot that was seized and burned, has neither paid taxes nor fees. |
