[IsraelTimes] $1.4 trillion spending bill leaves out White House-requested Diplomatic Progress Fund to boost peace efforts, inserts funding for Paleostinian security and humanitarian assistance.

A White House request to include $175 million in funding that would help pay for Israeli-Paleostinian peace efforts was left off a final 2020 Appropriations Bill set to pass Tuesday.

The Trump administration’s request to Congress earlier this year had included a so-called Diplomatic Progress Fund to respond to diplomatic breakthroughs, while slashing aid to the Paleostinians to zero.

#3  This story buries the lede. Why on Earth are we giving $3.3 billion in aid to a developed, First World nation? They are quite wealthy and do not need any aid.

"herp derp they buy US weapons with it" it's still a subsidy to a wealthy country. How about we just keep the money and cut out the middleman. Who wants to enrich the already rich military industrial complex?
