#6 The HERO distance is over 3 miles for aircraft carrying ordinance... as well as for incoming warheads? It seems the THAAD's radar may be capable of self defense quite aside from any missiles it guides. |

#5 Blue cities don't want ABM protection. Put the THAADs out where they can protect the silos at FE Warren, Minot and Malmstrom. Only a few buffalo to microwave out there. |

#4 Whenever we are told that the US lags behind South Korea or Japan in broadband speeds, it's not mentioned that scaling up what can be done on a piece of real estate the size of those countries to a space the size of CONUS is a big deal. OTOH, we have places where there are no civilians in the deny area, and overflights are just a case of NOTAMs. |
