Elderly Iowa voter who Joe Biden slammed as a 'damn liar' during extraordinary exchange over his son Hunter is revealed to be a Marine veteran, 83

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Marine vet and retired farmer, Merle Gorman, 83, confronted Joe Biden, 77, during a campaign stop in Iowa on Thursday

Gorman claimed Biden sold access to the Presidency by allowing his son Hunter to serve on the the board of a Ukranian gas company while he was vice president

Biden reacted in rage after the accusation, describing Gorman as a 'damned liar'

Gorman has since told reporters he was not satisfied with Biden's response

'The exchange speaks for itself... He didn't have the guts to explain the situation, and that's what I wanted' Gorman told The News York Post

The New York Post adds.

Gorman, who said he voted for Barack Obama, said he liked Elizabeth Warren and would also gladly see Pete Buttigieg, Cory Booker or Andrew Yang on the ticket.

“I would love any of them except Joe Biden,” he said. “He’s been there all his life …”

“I don’t have any ill feelings toward Joe Biden,” he continued. “But he’s had his day in there and I’m not fond of lifetime politicians.”

Gorman stressed he wasn’t a supporter of President Trump.
