| #5 Good question Dale. I believe Foreign Area Officers (FAO's) used to be managed and assigned from the very small FAO division in the Pentagon. Whomever he worked for in the National Security Council (NSC) would constitute his chain of command, rater, etc. I have no idea who the next uniformed person in his chain would be. |
