The Coup has started - Atty for a whistleblower. | |
2019-11-07 | |
![]() [Fox News] Mark Zaid, one of the attorneys representing the whistleblower at the center of the Democrats' ongoing impeachment inquiry, tweeted conspicuously in January 2017 that a "coup has started" and that "impeachment will follow ultimately." Then, in July 2017, Zaid remarked, "I predict @CNN will play a key role in @realDonaldTrump not finishing out his full term as president." Also that month, Zaid tweeted, "We will get rid of him, and this country is strong enough to survive even him and his supporters." Amid a slew of impeachment-related posts, Zaid assured his Twitter followers that "as one falls, two more will take their place," apparently referring to Trump administration employees who defy the White House. The tweets, which came shortly after President Trump fired then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates for failing to defend federal laws in court, are likely to fuel Republican concerns that the anonymous whistleblower's complaint is tainted with partisanship. Trump's call with Ukraine's leader, which is the subject of the complaint, occurred in July 2019. “The whistleblower’s lawyer gave away the game," the Trump campaign's communications director, Tim Murtaugh. told Fox News. "It was always the Democrats’ plan to stage a coup and impeach President Trump and all they ever needed was the right scheme. They whiffed on Mueller so now they’ve settled on the perfectly fine Ukraine phone call. This proves this was orchestrated from the beginning.” Trump has repeatedly accused Democrats and partisans in the intelligence community of effectively plotting a coup against him, through selective leaks and lengthy investigations. "45 years from now we might be recalling stories regarding the impeachment of @realDonaldTrump. I'll be old, but will be worth the wait," Zaid wrote in June 2017. He emphasized his interest in impeachment in a variety of other posts. "Johnson (1868), Nixon (1973), Clinton (1998) impeachment hearings. Next up @realDonaldTrump (2017)," he said in May. Fox News has previously reported on social media posts by Zaid that highlighted what appeared to be open animus toward the president. Although Zaid described Democratic House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., as a "mature professional," and circulated articles that touted the reliability of the largely discredited Steele dossier used by the FBI to surveil a former member of Trump's campaign, Zaid has repeatedly unloaded on the president in no uncertain terms. #19 How can they be so stupid? They expect the same level of cover from the MSM and the deep state as they had 20 years ago. That level of cover doesn't exist anymore so they are getting caught. |

#18 Complete joke. Why did these clowns ever think their stunts wouldn't be brought to light? Do they think they're living in a totalitarian state? That they work for the Stasi, or the Red Guards or NKVD? How can they be so stupid? |

#8 I don't think they understand that if they successfully pull off impeaching Trump on trumped up charges, he won't go. And the civil war will be kicked off in earnest. |

#4 And now we have another Tent in our Shitshow, courtesy of "whistleblower" counsel's personal fave YouTube channel. Wonder what his legal counterparts, the in-house counsel at Disney Corp. think of the linked (kinked?) personal page, below? So it now appears that Mark Zaid, Esq. has a fetish for little girls. Fortunately for those who still care about things like integrity, character, decency etc, this shithead's YouTube account has now been archived by a diligent blogger. His take: The Internet has a long memory. In fact, it’s eight years too long for the Ukraine whistleblower’s lawyer Mark Zaid. That was the last time he had activity on his YouTube page, and the three videos he liked at the time are pretty creepy. It seems the lawyer really enjoyed watching videos about the “prettiest” Disney Channel stars, including a video that tracks Selena Gomez from childhood. |

#3 He has admitted to being part of a coup, he and all his associates should be arrested, tried and swinging from gibbets on the White House Lawn within a week. |

#2 Impossible to deny that this whole affair is an embarrassment. Petty, foolish, with clownishly inept tactics of blatant lies, innuendo, blatant attempts to end-run established procedures and legal (due) process, standards of evidence, presumption of innocence, simple fairness etc. More worthy of a college-town council squabble, or maybe hockey dads battling over control of a Little League organization, or schoolmom fights in your local PTA. When you add to this clownish ineptitude the constant, 24/7 media manipulation and distortions, lies and tall tales, there's no other word that adequately captures what's going on, save SHITSHOW. A total disgrace. Lord, what a shitty political class we have. |

#1 I believe that the Democrats know they cannot really 'catch Trump' at some wrongdoing and impeach him rightfully. Nor can they turn the GOP against him. No, their tactic is that of mob enforcers, labour unionists. Implicit in these attempts is a threat to American electorates, voters themselves - if you elect anyone but a Democrat, the entrenched federal lackeys and staff will make governance impossible for the President. Media circuses powering unrest, federal freezes, dragging on legislation and frivolous litigation, House hearings and a microscopic scrutiny of all White House activity. They'll reduce it to something other than a Presidency if a Democrat cannot occupy the position. It's an attempt to not only usurp unaccountable power, but to coerce a nation into letting go of its constitution defined status, bit by bit. In the end, who knows ? They might wish to form ...an American Union with neighboring countries ? Everyone under the new Socialist umbrella, fed of American resources ? With their thought pattern, anything is possible. |
