#17 he had been an Obama advisor when McDonald’s hired him in 2015 Shitshow's revolving tent - Virtue Circle Jerk edition: Virtue-signaling corporations hire PC politicians. PC politicians provide regulatory passes and other benefits to virtue-signaling corporations. |

#16 Just ran a name link check on Mr. Easterbrook, with the results added to the article. Only one article in the Rantburg archives, but he had been an Obama advisor when McDonald’s hired him in 2015. At that time everyone assumed Hillary Clinton would inherit the mantle, so investing in connected Democrats was a good bet. Now it's not, and given that a lot of people believe President Trump will be reelected, it is looking considerably worse for years to come. And he has done nothing to improve sales. Mr. Wife observed that Mr. Easterbrook was probably helping himself to the help his whole career, but probably this time the woman — or another female unhappy about preferential treatment — complained where someone with the power to act heard about it. |

#14 :Heh: Typical corporate action when they want to fire someone -- look for an excuse, like this, rather than scaring the shareholders by being truthful and saying the dumbass was ruining the company. |

#8 Now that he is a #metoo culprit I think he can declare success on turning McDonalds into a modern, progressive company. |

#1 They should have replaced him when he said he wanted to turn McDonald's into a modern, progressive burger company. Right then, I knew they were doomed. |
