| Egypt police kill 13 terrorists in North Sinai raid | |

| [AlAhram] Egyptian security forces killed 13 murderous Moslems during a raid on a hideout in the border North Sinai region on Tuesday, the interior ministry said in a statement. The holy warriors were killed during an exchange of fire with the security forces carrying out the raid on the hideout in El-Arish, the capital of North Sinai, the ministry said. Police found weapons and explosives in the terrorists’ possession, the statement added.
They said the attack, which took place late on Monday in the town Sheikh Zuweid, also wounded three policemen who were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Separately, the officials said security forces killed 13 suspected fighters in a raid on Tuesday in the Mediterranean coastal city of el-Arish’ el-Obour neighborhood. | |
