Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin McAleenan is out
2019-10-12
[Wash. Examiner] Kevin McAleenan, the acting secretary for the Department of Homeland Security, is out as the temporary chief of the department.
DHS obstructionist
McAleenan, 48, is the fourth acting or confirmed secretary to have served atop the 240,000-person department since President Trump took office.

Trump announced his exit in a series of tweets Friday night, explaining that he "wants to spend more time with his family and go to the private sector."
"GTFO!"
The Times of Israel has more on the registered Democrat who recently significantly reduced illegal border crossings, but oversaw a department full of squabblers jockeying for promotion and a media leak about plans to expel illegals who’d settled in the U.S. Perhaps this promotion was beyond his managerial ability.

#3  (Trump tweeted) that he "wants to spend more time with his family and go to the private sector."

Presidential Snark of the Day!

#2  he just thought than he can replace all the assholes once elected.

It seems to me the key is to start reducing the numbers of the corrupt — it’s an iterative process. The first round was all those who retired suddenly after Donald Trump was sworn in; they were not replaced, others on staff either taking on the responsibilities or the responsibilities fell to the bottom of the priority list. The second round involves promoting career bureaucrats to the level where they no longer have civil service protections, and then firing them or accepting their resignations to spend more time with family.
