| #9 I went to two Celtics games in semi-recent memory - one was a game when Rick Pitino (the great destroyer of the Celtics in the mid-nineties) was being a jackoff, yelling at Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce every single god-damn time up & down the court. Bad long-term move, treating pro players like they were still playing for Pitino's Kentucky teams. I told my buddy 'If it ever gets in my hands, I'm chucking the ball at him and I hope I at least make it close'. At that time, it would've made me a regional hero. The other game was after the Celtics won the whole thing in 2008 (#17 - suck it, Lakers fans!). The seat, valued at $270 four rows back of the Bulls bench, was traded for my recipe for buffalo wings. Now, if money wasn't a problem, I'd do it in a heartbeat - fuck these assholes. It does make you wonder how many people, taking Besoeker's lead, will now just quietly tune them out, since the NBA has gotten incredibly boring recently. |

| #6 Ima thinking that the recent few years of 'wokeness' of the NBA, as well as the NFL, are due to the respective commissioners, Adam Silver and Roger Goodell, being easily rolled. This makes me want to go to a Celtics game, sit right behind the bench of either team, and unzip my coat to show a 'Free Hong Kong' t-shirt underneath, and then get into a brawl with the security goons when they start hauling my ass out. |

| #1 The NBA did give her the obligatory / proforma 'apology', which was entirely unconvincing. Not that I watch a lot of basketball now in any event but if it's not the Boston Celtics, I'm a lot more likely to not watch it now. |
