| 22 Taliban militants killed, wounded in Faryab province |

| [KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces killed 10 Talibs and maimed 12 others in two districts of Faryab province, the Afghan military said. The 209th Shaheen Corps said late on Wednesday that the Afghan forces killed 4 Talibs and maimed 5 others after ambushing a group of Talibs Khawaja Mosahi area of Pashtun Kot district. According to a statement released by 209th Shaheen Corps, the security forces also clashed with Talibs in Qazal Village of Khwaja Sabzposh district, killing 6 Talibs and wounding 7 others. The statement further added that the two security personnel also bit the dust during the clash. |
