group Gul Nabi Mubarez in northern Balkh province of Afghanistan, the Afghan military said.

The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement Mubarez was the shadow district chief of Taliban in Chemtal district.

The statement further added that he had facilitated an attack on election sites in Chemtal few days ago but came under airstrike and lost his life.

Furthermore, the 209th Shaheen Corpss said Mubarez had sustained critical injuries last year and had recently came to Balkh province to coordinate more attacks.

The Taliban group has not commented in this regard so far.

#2  My sense is that the Afghans are getting closer to the 10,000 hour mark required to attain competence, Chereting Pelosi1889, and their Special Forces have crossed that line.
