| Time to Set the Record Straight on Slavery |

| [AmericanThinker] ...A look into the past is instructive. According to Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, 12.5 million African slaves were shipped to the New World between 1525 and 1866, and 10.7 million (about 86 percent) survived the trip. Of these, only 450,000 (about 4 percent of the total) were sent to America. The rest were shipped to South America and the Caribbean. Brazil alone received 4.9 million. Why are there no calls for reparations in Brazil? And the black slave trade to the West pales in comparison to the white and black slave trade conducted by Muslim nations of Africa and the Middle East in its barbarity and numbers. I think there are similarities with illegal immigration today - some people make lots of money. Others pay for it, and will keep paying for generations. |

The logic of reparations is Sharpton's: Heads I win, tails you lose, whites are eternally guilty -- regardless of when they arrived in the US, or whether they benefited from slavery or discrimination in any meaningful or demonstrable fashion, or whether they're even "white" at all. Which means the Great Shakedown must never be allowed to end. |

| #6 Here's a deal: a one-time payment of $200k - pro-rated per amount of provable slave ancestry, e.g. Obama would get zilch, his wife the full $200k - in exchange for a complete, absolute, permanent end to any and and all racial preferences in hiring, government funding, and school admissions. Deal? |

| #5 Yeah, lets talk about this - From bases on the Barbary coast, North Africa, the Barbary pirates raided ships traveling through the Mediterranean and along the northern and western coasts of Africa, plundering their cargo and enslaving the people they captured. From at least 1500, the pirates also conducted raids on seaside towns of Italy, Spain, France, England, the Netherlands and as far away as Iceland, capturing men, women and children. | #2 Trump should propose a bill/whatever in the UN saying that any member that tolerates slavery within their borders, as of 2020, will lose their UN seat. It would be interesting to see how the votes fall. |
