It supported financially the Popular Arab and Islamic Conference (the "Terrorist Internationale") when it functioned in the Sudan. It is Iran's best friend in the Arab World. It has been home to such elements as Brookings and the Clinton foundations. The wonder is why the USA chose the insecure venue as a command center in the first place. |

| #3 Qatar has been playing both side for quite a while. Hope this is temporary as the old WW2 buildings/housing were 'temporary' [most of that wood didn't come down till the 80s and there are still some out there]. |
