#5 I'm obviously out of date; but back in the day the House of Lords functioned as a Supreme Court for Britain. I wasn't aware that they had a Supreme Court--can anyone help me understand this development? Also a comment--with an unwritten constitution, you invite stuff like this. Not that judges over here aren't creative readers; but at least we have in writing the way that things are supposed to be. |
