CA Senate Passes Resolution Telling Pastors to Embrace LGBTQ Beliefs
2019-09-20
[CBN] California Senate passed a resolution telling Christian clergy to accept and support LGBTQ ideology, even if doing so violates their Christian beliefs.

Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99 (ACR-99) was introduced by Democratic state Assemblyman Evan Low of San Jose on June 4 as a way to gather support for LGBTQ identity and behaviors.

CBN News previously reported that more than two dozen doctors, counselors, former homosexuals, and other Christian leaders signed a letter condemning the resolution, which they said violates religious freedom.

#15  It's starting.

#14  Yet another proof, as the progressive/socialists/communists reveal what they have always been but now feel safe to display.
The parallel to Europe in the early 30's and the very real threat of COMINTERN and clandestine revolution planning feels eerie and otherworldly still. Like the insistence that this can't be happening here, not in the USA, and yet, it seems to be. Abandoning your cultural roots and faith in a divine being for the prospects of the world they want to make is national suicide. I fear this doesn't end well...

#13  #8 Iblis, we only had separation of church and state when those icky Christians were trying to tell us what to do.

Now that we are in a position to tell them what to do, it is an entirely different story.

#12  So far it's just a resolution. Non-binding. Wait until they make it a law.

#11  Your religion, guns and vote will be surrendered to the puny, feeble gods worshiped by the left in California because people are "too afraid to come out" against them or they will lose this or they will that, closet conservatives.

Then they wonder why they are no longer free.....

#10  That cult(ure) started before that, when they had Maoist "self-correction" sessions for lower-prominence people who supported defining marriage correctly.

#9  I stopped my support of 'gay marriage' when the hard left in CA ran Brendan Eich out of his job at Mozilla. That right there seems to be the beginning of what's now called 'cancel culture', the fascist trend to ruin people they don't agree with. These assholes are just taking the next logical step in this effort.

#5  All the normies should leave the state to the granola people. Let's see how they do.

#4  Won't survive a court challenge. Which is why the left has tried to legislate from the bench for years.

#2  A 'State' can do whatever they want, till someone shuts them down. Been through that already in the '60s with some other Donk controlled states. We're reaching a point of blatant open criminal conspiracy to violate fundamental Constitutional civil rights.

#1  Don’t think the State can do that.
