[NBC] "I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House," Trump tweeted Tuesday. President Donald Trump has fired National Security Adviser John Bolton after a string of disagreements between the two over how the U.S. should handle North Korea and Iran. Trump announced on Twitter that he had asked for Bolton's resignation, which he received this morning, after the president had "disagreed with many of his suggestions." “I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning,” Trump said on Twitter.

#7 The big problem is that there are only two factions in Western politics as far as the so called WoT is concerned: One advocates ending the war by losing it. The other one advocates not losing the war by prolonging it indefinitely. Ending the war by making the enemy lose (and us win) is a notion that is verboten, apparently. |

#6 Now we shall see Bolton transformed (in mass media) from Darth Vader to Anakin Skywalker. |

#5 That is something that needs to be avenged, and the best vengeance can be effected only when the troops are out of there. Bolton wanted the troops to stay. This 'managing of expectations' is what Trump is tired of, I think. Obviously he wants to exit the hellhole completely. |

#4 Yes, Bolton was against the Taliban, murders of many US Troops signing a "peace" agreement at Camp David when the Madrassas did not teach them to read, or write, or the proper definition of such words as Peace. |

#3 I heard he was the one who advised against meeting the talibaners. For some reason, the idea of 'image' is more important to Bolton than actual strategy. Gen. John Keene and Frank Gaffney are good replacements ? |

#2 Make him point-man on North Korea. That'll get Kim's attention. |
