[RedState] I will give the parade high marks for comedy, though: They hosted as Grand Marshal outspokenly-gay Milo Yiannopoulos. |

#5 Sad commentary but parents are now having to teach their kids it's okay to not be gay. |

#4 #1 Do people even show up for this ? Why would normal people feel the need for this ? Because being "above it all" and conceding ground to the freakazoids only encourages them. Such "masterly inactivity" has been the strategy of the Western Right for a couple of generations now and it's been a disaster. Something different is needed, and while this may or may not be it, I'm willing to see if it works. |

#3 This happened a few months ago. Near my dwelling, there's an upscale market claimed by leftist 'elites' as their meeting place. Sort of a mini-broadway. Me and wife were going out for chinese or kebabs and there was this 'pride party' on the kerbs, the walkways. A guy wearing a silly wig and paint on his face came up to my wife saying 'we love you, Auntie !' trying to embrace her. She punched him in the groin. A quick backfist to his 'machinery'. But he went 'ooh'. We left the crowd aghast and a girl yelling "Haters !" behind us as I steered my woman away and to home. She told me later it was the "..Auntie !" that did it. |

#2 As I recall, there was a contingent of gay Republicans cheering them on. Why would normal people feel the need for this ? Trolling the purse-lipped and disapproving left. |
