Suicide blast wounds 4 civilians including women in Kabul

[KhaamaPress] The security officials confirm an explosion has taken place in Taimani area of Kabul city.

According to reports, the explosion has taken place in the vicinity of the 2nd street of Taimani.

Eyewitnesses say it was likely a suicide attack.

Meanwhile, an official in the Ministry of Interior confirmed that a suicide blast in 2nd street of Taimani has wounded 4 civilians, including 3 women.

No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.

Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior said the police forces arrested Pahlawan Jamshid during an operation in Kabul city earlier today.
What — during daylight?? These Afghan police have absolutely no sense of proper procedure. Send them to train with Bangladesh’s Rapid Action Battalion!
Rahimi further added that the police forces arrested Pahlawan Jamshid after he sustained injuries in an infighting among the gang members.
Can’t have been much of a gangster if he can’t freeze his henchmen with a single evil glare...
Furthermore, Rahimi said the infighting among the gang members of Pahlawan Jashid took place this afternoon in the first district of Kabul city.
Good lord. Do not these people understand that all evildoing must be done at zero dark thirty?
He also added that Jamshid had earlier committed major crimes including murders, banditary and robbery.
Ah well, at least he is wanted for crimes on twelve planets.
However, Rahimi said Pahlawan Jamshid succumbed to his injuries after the police arrested him in wounded condition and shifted him to hospital.
...one hopes his mother loved him enough to mourn his death. Clearly no one else did.

#4  Explosive martyrdom may be a Palestinian invention but it sure as hell caught on in the rest of the Islamic world. I include flying passenger planes into building in the same category.

#3  It's a paleostinian invention I believe, the suicide bomber. While the original madness of islam declared suicide a sin, later mullahs added to the dogma their own interpretations as per convenience.

I think it was the paleostinian Abdullah Yusuf Azzam who first began to ideate on explosive martyrdom as a justified tactic for the dawah (religious war). He used some long dead saudi arabian asshole's religious writings from the 17th century to forward this doctrine. As it happened, Ossama was a fan of Azzam's and included many of his teachings in the training of his acolytes.

But the most widely read asshole among jihadi ideologues is Taqi al-din Ahmad Ibn Taymiya (1263-1328), a Turkish asshole. He used to issue fatwas to Turkmeins and erstwhile chechens to battle Mongols, and commanded them to martyrdom, taking as many Mongols as they could. Some men obviously high on hash used to run burning, into camps setting supplies and stuff on fire until they were killed. Ossama, Zawahiri and others all cited him when exhorting their followers to undertake suicide missions. I'm sure that did not suffice and yuge quantities of hash or cocaine were involved.

Finally, Hamas released their charterin the late 80s, declaring it a great islamic privilege to be a suicide bomber, and turned out the first bomb-vests. Only the israelis know what havoc they caused after that, until security agencies got a handle on barely the tactics involved.
