Buttigieg: Voting for Trump Is ‘Looking the Other Way on Racism’

From 2007 to 2010, he worked at McKinsey and Company, a consulting firm. From 2009 to 2017 Buttigieg served as an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve, attaining the rank of lieutenant and deploying to Afghanistan in 2014. Buttigieg was first elected mayor of South Bend in 2011 and was reelected in 2015. During his second term, he announced he was gay. Buttigieg also campaigned for Indiana state treasurer in 2010 and for chair of the Democratic National Committee in 2017, losing both elections. He is running for the Dem nomination in 2020 on the theory that being mayor of a nondescript medium sized city is qualification to run the country...

Tapper asked, "You told me on this show two weeks ago that you believe President Trump is a white nationalist. Given that, do you think that it’s a racist act to cast a vote for President Trump in 2020?"

Buttigieg said, "Well, at best, it means looking the other way on racism. I think a lot of people are wondering what kind of deal even that is supposed to be. You know you look at what he said in that rally. You have no choice but to vote for me. And if you look at the numbers, basically what he’s saying is, ’all right, I want you to look the other way on the racism, tolerate the negativity, accept the instability of my administration because I’m going to deliver for you job growth almost as good as the Obama years.’ That’s what his argument amounts to now. It’s part of the reason why he’s unpopular."

#7 So just what derogatory name is left to call Trump and his supporters. We are White Nationalists, code for being a Nazi, deplorables, a term I kinda like, sexist, homophobic, testosterone driven gun and bible nut. The one thing they cant call us, because the left owns it is the rape of young girls, Hollywood, and institutional pedophilia. All that the dems can own.
