| Sudan's Rebels Want Role in Transitional Government |

| [AAWSAT] A Sudanese rebel alliance said Wednesday it should be represented in the transitional government formed by the military and the pro-democracy movement. Yesir Arman, a bigwig in the Sudan Revolutionary Front, told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named that the transitional government should end the long-running war in Darfur and integrate the rebels into the armed forces as part of an "agenda of peace." | #1 Why would anybody want the former dictator to go live in comfort until the end of his trial and inevitable acquittal? How stupid is that? The military will end up shooting him at some point, as he no doubt deserves. |
