Rouhani administration battles hardliners over claims of dual nationalism
2019-07-26
[Jpost] President Hassan Rouhani’s chief of staff dismissed as baseless a list of alleged dual nationals in the Rouhani administration published by hardliners in the Iranian government, according to Radio Farda.

The hard-line cleric claimed that families of the Iranian elite received 2,500 green cards from former US president Barack Obama to gain favor with the Iranian nuclear-negotiation team.
"We are delighted that they have published the list," Mahmoud Vaezi said. "The list shows how baseless are the allegations."

Vaezi added that the list is based on guesswork and is not backed up by any hard evidence.

#3  And shortly thereafter Jimmy Carter was denied the traditional second term won by presidents the American voters find acceptable. You raise this point repeatedly, Mr. McCoy, but it is no more illuminating than it was the first time.

#2  "The Soviet Union, seeing us so willingly abandon a staunch ally, invaded Afghanistan in December 1979, just six months after Carter and Russian leader Leonid Brezhnev embraced after signing a new arms-control treaty". Carter's Iranian visit and shortly after down goes the Shaw a staunch US ally. The attacks on the Iranian people were far worse under Khomeini. Send Carter over to Iran to represent US and then claim collusion with the our enemies.

#1  Who knows that the US instigated and approved the Iranian Revolution in 1979? Ayatollah Khomeni was just a powerless exile until the State Department withdrew their support of the Shah, a staunch US ally.
