| Taliban attack claims the lives of 37 security personnel in North-east of Afghanistan |

| [KhaamaPress] An attack by Talibs claimed the lives of 37 security personnel in North-eastern Takhar province. Wafiullah Amin, Provincial Council Chief of Takhar confirmed that the Talibs attacked the security check posts in Eshkamish district at around 12:00 am. Amin further added that the attack the claimed the lives of 37 security personnel including 24 Public Order Policemen and 13 National Police soldiers. Furthermore, Amin said the security institutions deployed additional forces at around 7 am local time who recaptured the area from Talibs.
