Syrian Army storms strategic hilltop in new attempted advance in NW Hama
2019-06-25
[ALMASDARNEWS] A heavy battle broke out this morning when the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) stormed the strategic hilltop of Tal Malah in northwestern Hama.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army reportedly stormed the western axis of the hilltop in an attempt to fracture the jihadist lines.

According to a military source near the front-lines in northwestern Hama, intense festivities are still ongoing at the moment; however, no advance has been made.

The Syrian Arab Army is seeking to retake Tal Malah and the nearby town of Jibeen from the jihadist rebels. Tal Malah overlooks the main road between the government strongholds of Mhardeh and Sqaylabiyeh.

Tal Malah and Jibeen were captured by the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else

At the same time, the Syrian Arab Army reported that they managed to shoot down a murderous Moslem drone that was flying over the Christian town of Mhardeh this morning.

#1  "...strategic hilltop" like Khe Sanh was strategic... until it wasn't? Journalists keep using that phrase. Is it an F5 macro on their word processors?
...like "rounds of bulletâ„¢" on the RAB stories?
