#12  It's remarkable how you people can read my mind like that. Can you do it again? What did I have for breakfast?

#11  "you" as in, um...

Herb hosted a prosy symposium:
No wine, but the whine, was it rosy,
Imparting a buzz
To his foes... so they dozed
As he endlessly droned... not ad nauseam.

Also, did I call AOC an expert? Maven, dammit, maven! Dementia's a helluva fug.

#10  How cute that you'd use the imperative
Disputin' the neocon narrative.
Yer huffin' and puffin'
And Hatfield-rebuffin'
Is futile... but very aperitive.

#9  Or, could be 'trigger' envy.

#8  Drone seems not to have been in Iranian airspace but was certainly close and may have been 'taunting' to determine how Iran would respond - or not. Iranian response may have been a local 'mistake' or an authorized response. Higher officials may have thrown local command under the bus for reason or for plausible deniability. Higher officials may deny the allegation that they admitted the attack was a mistake because the allegation is wrong/a lie or to save face. Lots of plausible scenarios, lots of possibly justified lies... I personally suspect there were back channel discussions and this is the way that was found to de-escalate military tension, because I don't think either country wants a real war, though both have political 'needs' to look warlike.

#7  ..and if we did, you would then attack the sources as unreliable. Your mind is made up.

It's like the Dalai Lama when asked why not talk with terrorists, said 'their minds are closed'.

#6  What indications? Provide evidence, cite sources.

#5  Whatever the case, the RQ4C which was a pain in their tucas is gone.

#4  So it's like the Prez said, "It's a mistake."

But then, the Iranians said, "It wudn't."

#3  Yeah. Commercial airliners fly at 50,000 feet plus all the time.

#2  The 'under the bus' theory could also apply.

#1  ...They were furious with him because he hit the wrong target - there's indications they were trying to shoot down an airliner, and then say it was actually our fault because we had patrol/surveillance burds in the area.
