#14  I read (at the 'Burg) that $1000 in Cali is not shoplifting, but a trivial misdemeanor, not to be prosecuted. Dallas, TX was talking about s similar measure, up to $750 would be "free".

Jails are too crowded, donchaknow.

#11  Who in their right mind thinks the tiny Asian and Hispanic lady cops should go and wrestle with that large black man?

Samuel Colt looks down and smiles.

#10  We all know (or so the LIE / MSM tells us) that big black guy is a "gentle giant." And that's not shoplifting, that's impromptu reparations.

#8  Anytime the usual sort of suspect is shot and killed when they could have easy surrendered or not attempted the crime in the first place, an anguished family member (or even a congress creature) moans that shoplifting, public drunkenness, etc is not a death penalty crime. Stupidity is not a death penalty crime. It does knock your life expectancy way down, however.

#7  Let's stipulate that guns are indeed horrifying, dangerous and icky, but consider: Sometimes an overwhelming show of force results in a peaceful outcome. Fight and flee might be an option if only one cop is on the scene, but when there are four with weapons drawn, surrender might be a better, safer option. At least if you want to live to shoplift another day.

#6  Who's to say the camera phone person wasn't set to go when the crime went down. Funny how this is truth to power but Project Veritas stuff is dangerous hate propaganda.

#5  Look at that delinquent face. And the dark jacket he's wearing, dark, baggy pants. He could be hiding anything. Also, the bastard threatened and assaulted the store owner, so cops had to assume he was armed or dangerous. I hope they don't face problems with their PD.
