A Kentucky pastor sent a message to minor seeking a 'threesome,' police say

this week after he allegedly sought sex with a minor via text messages, according to police.

The Prestonsburg Police Department said in a news release that Bobby J. Blackburn, 26, turned himself in Wednesday without incident and was charged with prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor to commit a sex act.

Blackburn is pastor of Elevate Church in Prestonsburg, according to a LinkedIn profile. He is also the owner of Giovanni's, a pizza restaurant in Prestonsburg, WYMT reported.

A phone number listed on Elevate Church's website was not accepting calls Friday. An email sent to the church was also not returned Friday.

An employee at Giovanni's who answered the phone Friday said Blackburn was "not here right now."

Prestonsburg coppers obtained a warrant for Blackburn's arrest May 24, according to an arrest citation, after a girl showed a police sergeant images of an iMessage conversation she had with Blackburn.

A young lass who’s name was Annette.
She conjured-up in his mind, fantasies of passion and sweat.
He posed as a teen and sent the young lady an email.
That was about to land him a long stretch in jail.
The email was steamy and frantic.
He said in his defense when caught for this illegal antic,
Your honor, it was not sex,
But only innocent text,
The judge, an Obama appointee said: It just so happens that Annette is my underage daughter,
You rotter.
And I don’t take kindly to some pastor corrupting her innocence; if I could you would get manslaughter.
Before I seal your fate “Pastor Bobby Blackburn, are you a Republican or Democrat asked the magistrate?”
“I am a Democrat your honor but what does that have to do with my fate?”
Everything son. Because if you are a Democrat, sexting with a minor is legal in this State.
The sentence is not a justice miscarriage.
Tell me son, would you consider marriage?
