| Afghan Special Forces rescue 32 people from a Taliban prison in Zabul |

| [KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces have rescued at least 32 people from a Taliban ...Arabic for students... prison in southern Zabul province. The Special Operations Corps of the Afghan Military in a statement said the Afghan Special Forces have rescued 32 people from a Taliban prison in Nawbahar district of Zabul. The statement further added that the Special Forces conducted the operation in Bazar Kohna Village of the district, rescuing 10 civilians and 18 security personnel. According to Special Operations Corps, the identifies of 4 other individuals have not been ascertained so far. The Special Forces also confiscated two Ak-47 assault rifles and some other military kits during the operation, the Special Corps added. This is not the first the time the Afghan forces are rescuing civilians and security personnel from a Taliban prison. Scores of people have been rescued during the similar operations in the past as well. |
