| Army foils major infiltration bid in Gurez |

| [Daily Excelsior] Army today foiled a major infiltration bid in Gurez sector of North Kashmire’s Bandipora district today while two murderous Moslems were rubbed out in Kulgam district of South Kashmire during an operation. A senior Army officer said that at about 4 pm, a group of 4 to 5 murderous Moslems attempted to sneak into this side in the general area of Naushahra Nar in Kanjalwan of Gurez. He said that the soldiers of 36 RR manning the fence challenged them and the murderous Moslems opened fire leading to a brief exchange of fire. |
