| #1 If being a Data-Hub and stealthy ELINT / AEW platform is this plane's "thing" then.... *Boggle* Where is the Electronics Warfare Officer that will do these space age stuff while the plane needs to be flown? If this can all be automated out then why not just design a UCAV, an unmanned drone, and fly it remote to do all of these things? This is really looking like a mismatch of roles and equipment, IMO... Lots of $$$'s to make a plane that does too many things when specialist frames would do it better and cheaper. |
