| Adam Schiff Not Terribly Interested In Finding Out If Steele Dossier Was Russian Misinformation |

| [Hot Air] Rep. Adam Schiff appeared on Fox News yesterday morning where he was asked about a recent report by the NY Times suggesting the Steele dossier may have become part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Specifically, the Times reported that Steele himself won’t rule out the possibility that Russia funneled information to him which then became part of the dossier and, from there, part of the years-long investigation into Russian collusion. As the Times pointed out last week, several of the most serious allegations, including that Trump had shared information with Russia over a period of eight years, were not found to have any support by Special Counsel Mueller. From the Daily Caller: The Intelligence Community knew the dossier was garbage, so they removed it from the National Intelligence Estimate and cleverly re-purposed it for political use. |

| #1 Of course Schiff is not interested in a Russian disinformation campaign, particularly one targeted at the Orange Man. How could the Clinton's election loss be blamed on the Russians if they were actually targeting Donald Trump ? Sort of answers the question about Obama reportedly doing little to thwart Russian election interference doesn't it? The narrative obviously needed room to breath.
